eat a peach

am i fine because i'm fine?
or am i fine because i'm not thinking about it?

or are things simply too busy for me to focus
on more than one thing at a time?

i'm fine. for now.

emotionless almost.

yo holmes!

"in wrath"

it means many things. as we are, we span a range of...everything, i suppose. but in the realm of actions and emotions change is constant.

wrath is...an action, sometimes, an emotion others. it seems to find its way often in the NKJV. like us, it spans a range of things: vindictive actions, righteous pleading, unrighteous force, and of course the perfect wrath of God.

a verse that stuck out to me was habakkuk 3:2. it seems to be a prayer that acknowledges the pain, the hurt, the apathy, the imperfect in our lives, the necessary coming judgement, yet appeals to the gracious nature of our holy God.

so. in wrath. its meaning changes depending on what mood i'm in. sometimes it's a selfless plea, sometimes a selfish decree and occasionally an unbiased introspection.

so it goes.
